VCU OVERVIEW

The Nexus R3 combines the functionalities of a power distribution module, a data logger, a wideband lambda probe controller and a state-of-the-art engine management system into a single advanced device called the VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) .

Main features:

• 4 x 25A (continuous) push-pull PWM outputs capable of operating at 5 kHz (suitable for injectors, coils, transmission brake, fan, fuel pump).
• 8 peak/maintenance injector controllers (also usable as low-side control outputs).
• 8 low-current turn-on outputs (also usable as low-side control outputs).
• 6 low-side control outputs (DPOs) , PWM compatible.
• 6 push-pull / H-bridge outputs (8A, PWM compatible), ideal for electronic throttle control.
• 11 0-5V analog inputs with redundancy for electronic throttle control and switchable 5V pull-up resistor.
• Trigger and home signal inputs with differential inputs, adjustable thresholds and anti-interference filters.
• 6 synchronous pulsed inputs with zero crossing or adjustable thresholds, useful for cam sensors, frequency inputs or 0-5V analog inputs.
• 1 integrated wideband lambda probe driver , compatible with NTK and LSU4.9.
• 1 integrated 4 bar MAP sensor .
• 2 CAN ports with switchable termination.
