Haltech Nexus S3 ECU Overview

The Haltech Nexus S3 is the successor to the critically acclaimed Elite 2500 , offering a significant upgrade in performance and functionality. Combining the classic capabilities of the Elite 2500 with new features and the superior processing power of the Nexus platform, the Nexus S3 redefines engine management for high-performance applications.

Main Features of the Nexus S3

• Injectors:
  • 8 peak/hold injector controllers (can also be used as low-side control outputs).
• On:
  • 8 low-current turn-on outputs (also usable as low-side control outputs).
• PWM outputs:
  • 6 PWM capable low side outputs ( DPOs ).
• Electronic throttle control:
  • 4 push-pull / half bridge outputs (8A, PWM) ideal for electronic accelerators.
• ECR Output:
  • 1 dedicated output.

Inputs and Sensors

• Analog inputs:
  • 11 0-5V inputs with redundancy for the electronic throttle and switchable 5V pull-up resistors.
• Trigger and Home Inputs:
  • Differential inputs with adjustable thresholds and anti-interference filters.
• Synchronized entries:
  • 6 pulsed, zero-crossing or adjustable threshold inputs for cam sensors, frequency inputs or 0-5V analog inputs.
• Integrated Wideband Controller:
  • Compatible with NTK and LSU4.9 sensors.
• Integrated MAP Sensor:
  • Built-in 4 bar MAP sensor.

  • 2 CAN ports with switchable termination.

  • AP2 (2005) Without Drive-By-Wire (DBW) electronic accelerator
