ECU Overview
The Elite 2500 is a standalone, two-pin ECU ideal for high-performance and competition applications in modern models. Recommended for 4, 6, or 8-cylinder engines with Drive-By-Wire (DBW) or 2, 3, or 4-rotor systems, EFI conversions, and engines with multiple variable camshafts.
Featuring a rugged, sealed, and waterproof IP67-rated housing, the Elite 2500 features electronic throttle control, intake and exhaust camshaft control, short- and long-term map learning, dual-channel knock control, and much more. This ECU provides engine tuners with the tools they need for accurate and efficient work.
The Elite 2500 is now equipped with the new Nexus Software Programmer (NSP), which offers unprecedented levels of functionality and ease of use in an engine control package. Together, these tools bring cutting-edge technology to tuners and high-performance enthusiasts worldwide.

ECU Functions
- Drive by Wire (DBW) throttle control: Requires 2 user-defined outputs and 4 user-defined inputs.
- Low impedance injector control: Programmable peak and hold currents with configurable peak times.
- Flex Fuel Function (Direct Sensor Input): Adjusts boost pressure, fuel and engine ignition timing based on ethanol content.
- Flexible adjustment configuration: Compatible with gasoline, LPG, methanol and ethanol, allowing easy selection of fuel type.
- Closed Loop O2 Control: Dual bank control for precise tuning (requires optional external O2 Wideband Controller Kit via CAN).
- Dual-channel knock control: Synchronized with engine position, with high-speed digital filtering for accurate detection.
- Variable Camshaft Control: Allows independent control of up to four camshafts. Requires at least one user-defined input and output per camshaft.
- Closed-loop idle speed control: With learning for constant idle stability. Requires 1 or 2 user-defined outputs (BAC type) or 4 user-defined outputs (stepper motor type).
- Long-term learning (Auto tune): On fuel, ignition, camshaft, turbo and idle control maps (up to 4D).
- Integrated data logging: Up to 40 channels with sampling rates up to 5 ms (200 Hz) and 2 MB of internal memory.
- Laptop Data Logging: Logs all available channels directly to the laptop's hard drive for both adjustments and diagnostics.
- Dual CAN Bus Communication: Compatible with Haltech displays, expansion devices, OEM CAN and OBDII (allows viewing of live engine data, as well as setting and clearing diagnostic error codes).
- Injection stages: Up to 4, with individual programmable flow rates per injector.
- 8 injection controllers: For 2 sequential stages in 4-cylinder, 3-rotor engines, and up to 4 sequential stages in 2-rotor engines.
- Anti-Lag/Rotational Idle: Designed for closed-circuit racing, rally, circuit or drift, allowing turbo pressure to be generated and maintained with the throttle closed.
- Dynamic Anti-Lag: Locks the current (or preset) RPM or road speed for rolling drag racing or pit lane limiting.
- Launch Control: Manages power delivery, rpm and turbo boost pressure for consistent launches.
- Traction control: Regulates engine power using slip maps between the front and rear axles or individual wheels.
Advanced settings
- Adjustment table resolution: Up to 32 x 32 x 8.
- Unlimited tuning flexibility: Configure your engine using a combination of 4D tables along with 3D per-cylinder offsets and multiple user-definable corrections.
- Tuning examples: Configure via manifold pressure, throttle position, camshaft position, ethanol content, gear, speed, stroke time, EGT (exhaust gas temperature), suspension travel, ride height or other channels for maximum flexibility.
- Cylinder correction: In 3D.
- O2 Broadband: Supports up to 9 channels via CAN expansion devices.
- Thermocouples/EGT: Supports up to 12 channels via external CAN expansion devices.
- Motor Protection: Advanced, multi-level limit settings for sensors, protecting against common causes of failure.
Competition functions
- Nitrous Oxide Control: Advanced programming for up to 6 stages of wet or dry kits, with on/off delays and bank control options.
- 3D Fuel and Ignition Corrections: For all stages.
- Turbo Pressure Control: Intelligent 4D closed-loop with learning, definable axes, and 14 fully configurable corrections for pressure targets and duty cycles.
- Multiple modes: For example, gear-based turbo boost, speed, race timer, suspension travel, ride height, etc.
- Sequential turbo control.
- CO2 Pressure Control: Dump valve pressure and position, plus intake air control for advanced applications.
- Flat Shift: Optimizes gear shifting precision through combinations of inputs such as a clutch switch or voltage sensor.
- Suspension travel/ride height inputs: Allow dynamic adjustments and data logging for chassis development and power delivery.
- Timer Functions: Combine the race timer with 5 additional programmable timers to control engine parameters and power delivery based on time.
- Transmission Brake Function: Provides smooth, consistent control off the starting line ("Bump" or "Creep" mode).
